Ever since I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher and through hard work and dedication, I was able to accomplish my dream. I wanted to be a teacher because of the impact that educators have on the young minds that will one day be our future. I want every child that steps into my classroom to feel welcomed and know that our diverse needs and strengths are wonderful and will be accepted in our classroom community. My students will also learn that it’s ok to make mistakes because that is how we learn. As the year goes on they will learn that through hard work and dedication anything is possible… the sky’s the limit!

I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in the fourth grade. I was fortunate enough to have amazing teachers that inspired me to become a teacher. I hope to create a positive learning environment for my students so they can feel safe to grow as learners. This is my second year with Richland School District and my first at Lewis & Clark Elementary. I am so happy to be part of the Lewis & Clark family.
