2016 State Chess Write Up

About  1,100 elementary school chess players from more than 180 schools participated in the 2016 Washington State Chess Championships in Tacoma on April 16.  Among them were 16 dedicated LCE students (and a couple of talented ex-Lewis and Clark students) who earned the Grade 4-6, 11th Place Team Trophy!  In addition, the following LCE students won individual trophies:

  • Colin Shen
  • Allen Xiong
  • Sean Xu.
